Pampered Chef Shower

First of all, aren't these two little girls just the cutest?!?!? Megan (right) and Emma (left) are just a week apart. Megan belongs to my dear friend Christine (who I met in college) and Emma belongs to my dear friend Rachel. I love these two little babies sooooo much and am so glad they were able to be at the shower!
The beautiful cake! It matches our wedding colors of purple and green and I LOVED IT! It was delicious!
Jeanie (my matron of honor) and Rachel (one of my bridesmaids) hosted the shower for me! Thanks girls!
We've been friends forever! Jeanie and I have grown up together (she's four days older) and we met Rachel in Jr. High! I love these girls so much and am so thankful to have such close friends! (SHOUT OUT TO ALL MY FRIENDS....You all rock!)

Wedding planning is going great! I'm still stuck on centerpiece ideas, but I have a few ideas. I'm headed down to our house this weekend, but after that I'll be on full wedding mode!

I might have a sneak peek at Engagement Pictures later tonight! We had them taken Saturday evening and there should be a few up on FB later tonight. YAY!!!

Reality...

I thought I'd post about the reality of a few different things.... 1. Reality Television- Well let's face it. I watch a lot of reality shows! American Idol, Biggest Loser, DWTS, Kate plus 8 (even though I said I wouldn't), and a few others. Well...this week two of the shows made me cry. Yeah, I admitted that on this blog. HA! I was watching American Idol last night and was so mad. I stood up, yelled at the television, and then proceeded to cry! HA! I was shocked that Pia was voted off. She is seriously one of the best! America you have let me down! It really makes me think the show is rigged. Seriously, there are so many others who should have gone before her! Then I watched this week's BL. Cried again! This show has been an inspiration to me since the very first season. 2. I'm getting married! The reality of the whole situation is really settling in! I can't believe it is happening in just 78 days! This weekend Brian is on his way up here! I met with the reception site tonight. Ashley and Gayle are super nice! They helped outline the entire night and let's just say I am really excited....and was super excited when they told me we could have a candy table and I could bring that in myself! HIP HIP!!!! 3. I had a somewhat bad day at school. Within the first five minutes I knew it wasn't going to be a good day! Six of my Nine reading group students didn't have their homework done! I was so mad! I almost popped a blood vessel, no joke! I had one parent give me an excuse for their child. NOT THE BEST TIME TO DO THAT!!! I was even more upset then! Seriously, it is April and they are almost 4th graders! I was half tempted to give them BIG FAT ZEROS! But instead I rewarded the rest of the group with prizes out of the prize box and kept the others in at recesses! Hope they learned a lesson.

83 Days

I bought a chalkboard while I was on Spring Break! I have lots of ideas for it, but thought for now I'd use it as a countdown til the wedding! WOOHOO!!!! I can't believe we only have 83 days! Seriously, where has the time gone? I've had an awesome weekend! I spent some time with some college friends today. Jen and Christine were in town for a Baby Shower and I got to see their babies! Jen's boy, Bryson, is 7 months! What a cutie pie!!! Christine's little girl, Megan, is 11 weeks! She is a doll! I loved getting to hold them and can't wait to see them again!
