I read somewhere today (on one of the many blogs I read) that blogging is a lot like journaling. Well yay for me because I have been journaling for years...since my third grade student teacher, Mrs. Ensminger, introduced me to it all those years ago. I used to be very consistent in my daily entries, but lately I have slipped. I try to journal my thoughts, feelings, prayers, stories, etc...and of course I am going to continue to write things down, I don't think I would be the same if I didn't, but this year I am also going to start blogging more. Who knows...maybe I'll become a famous blogger...a girl can dream right?
So I thought I would blog about my goals for 2010.
1. Spend more time in prayer. I am a devout Catholic. I love my faith. I tend to find myself slipping in daily prayer time though. So this year I am going to devote more time to that.
2. Drink less Diet Pepsi. SHOCKER I KNOW! I've realized that part of my kidney problem could be linked to the caffiene intake I have recently encountered. I LOVE DIET PEPSI. LOVE IT. So I am really going *TRY* to cut back. Now having said this, I just bought two two-liters and six little guys for my lunches....this has to last me a long time and then I am going to try not to buy it anymore. I did much better since my hospital stay...I've only consumed three-four in the last seven days, instead of four + a day. Yes I told you I drink it like it is coming through an IV.
3. Love my boyfriend more. Now I am not trying to be all gushy here. We both have agreed that we love each other equally and that is fine, I guess. (JK trying to be a funny person). But what I do want to work on is getting to know him even more and falling even more in love with him.
4. Of course blog more. Enough said.
5. Make Lifetime. This is a goal I have been working on for two years. I started my weight loss journey thinking that I would never get close. I have been struggling with these last five or so pounds for a few months now. I will make Weight Watchers Lifetime in the next few months.
6. Travel to visit my Godchildren. Here's a shout out to four of the greatest people I know (including their families of course.) Jack is in third grade, Emma is in kindergarten, Danny just turned 1, and Newell is about to turn 1. I am so blessed.
7. Take more pictures. I think I should start scrapbooking...but not sure if I can do it. Hmm..
Okay I am going to stop for now. I think seven goals is a good way to start the year. Coming soon- a reflection on the previous year!
